Northern Arizona University Website Migration Overview

Northern Arizona University came to WordHerd to migrate over 250 department websites from their enterprise content management system to subsites of a single WordPress multisite install. Our team worked with NAU to map content to the appropriate WordPress custom fields. WordPress shortcodes were designed to be a 1:1 copy of existing content blocks. Our team also provided redirects as a part of the process to account for changing URLs and to maintain SEO equity.

The full list of requirements for the website migration included: custom shortcode mapping, page and media migration, Gravity Forms web form generation, conversion of all tables to TablePress, 301 redirect, SEO meta and SEO schema integration.
