Below are a few WordHerd examples of Education websites.
NAU came to WordHerd to migrate over 250 department websites from their enterprise Ektron CMS to subsites of a single WordPress multisite install. Requirements for the website migration include: custom shortcode mapping, page and media migration, Gravity Forms web form generation, conversion of all tables to TablePress, 301 redirect, SEO meta and SEO schema integration.
To date, WordHerd has migrated two website properties to WordPress for Galen College, which we host and maintain. The first is a microsite with landing pages to drive leads to their nursing programs, complete with Salesforce/Pardot API integration. The second is their core website, in which we migrated 100’s of pages and blog posts into custom WPBakery builder layouts. In addition to migration, we developed a number of custom WPBakery widgets to accommodate Galen’s content requirements.
WordHerd loves taking non-profits from costly CMS platforms to the open-source world of WordPress, and that’s just what we did for TK California. In addition to migrating 100’s of pages and posts we converted a library of resources into a user-friendly, browsable and searchable format.
The DDLS courses and certifications are plentiful and each contain very specific program information. Our team converted this data from Episerver into WordPress custom post types with a variety of custom fields that were auto-generated using our proprietary ACF API. In addition, we migrated all assets, categorization and menus.
